Madam Agnes Asangalisa Chigabatia, the former Deputy Upper East Regional Minister has passed away. The news was announced on January 10, 2024.
Agnes Chigabatia was a true pioneer in her political career. She made history as the first woman in the northern region to be elected as the NPP Regional Chairman in the 90s.
Additionally, she served as a dedicated Member of Parliament for the Builsa North constituency, leaving behind an incredible legacy of accomplishments that are yet to be surpassed by her successors. She will always be remembered for her remarkable contributions.
