Stonebwoy Crowned Artiste Of The Year At The 25TH Telecel Ghana Music Awards

In a night of glamour and celebration, Ghanaian music superstar Stonebwoy was crowned Artiste of the Year at the 25th edition of the Ghana Music Awards. The highly anticipated event, held at the Accra International Conference Centre, saw Stonebwoy beat out stiff competition from five other nominees to take home the coveted award.

Stonebwoy, known for his unique blend of reggae, dancehall, and afrobeats, has been a dominant force in the Ghanaian music scene for over a decade. His win marks his second Artiste of the Year award, having previously won in 2015.

The Bhim Nation president, as he is affectionately known by his fans, had a phenomenal year, releasing several hit singles and collaborations, including “Ololo” featuring Nigerian artist Teni, and “Shuga” featuring Beenie Man.

In addition to his Artiste of the Year award, Stonebwoy also took home five other awards, including Best International Collaboration, Best Reggae/Dancehall Artist, Songwriter of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Dancehall Artist.

In his acceptance speech, Stonebwoy expressed his gratitude to God, his family, and his fans for their unwavering support. He also acknowledged his fellow nominees, saying, “I am honored to be part of this generation of talented artists who are pushing the boundaries of Ghanaian music.”

The 25th Ghana Music Awards ceremony, hosted by Ghanaian media personalities Naa Ashorkor and Trigmatic, featured electrifying performances from some of Ghana’s biggest names in music, including Sarkodie, KiDi, and Kuami Eugene.

Stonebwoy’s win marks a triumphant return to the top for the artist, who has been a trailblazer in the Ghanaian music industry for over a decade. His dedication, passion, and commitment to his craft have made him a beloved figure in Ghana and beyond.
