C.K Akonnor’s daughter, known to netizens as Naa Quekyi but now using the stage name Schia, has embarked on an exciting journey into the music industry. Stepping away from her father’s illustrious career in football, Schia is making her mark with a unique sound and a promising debut single, “La Vida Loca.”
Before her foray into music, Schia‘s public presence was associated with the touching moments she shared with her father on social media. Now, with the release of “La Vida Loca,” Schia is transitioning from a viral sensation to a respected artist in her own right. Her music defies easy categorization, blending elements of hip-hop and Caribbean sounds to create a sound that is as distinctive as her family legacy.

“I have always wanted to do music,” Schia said about her music debut. “I was however not confident in my writing until 2022,” she added. With a little push from loved ones including Ghanaian producer Jayso, Schia began releasing freestyles and renditions on her social media pages. On September 6, she dropped the self-written, “La Vida Loca,” produced by Jayso and Mike Kwa6i of Skillions fame.
