Global Scene Emphasises On Collaboration Over Competition – Edem

Ghanaian Afrobeats and Hip-hop artiste, Edem has asserted that people on the global landscape pay more attention to collaborations than competition.

The ‘Over Again’ hitmaker, while making a submission on his general overview of the global scene as opposed to the local one on Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim divulged that, people on the international scene approach features with a collaborative mindset rather than a competitive one.

In the words of the popular musician, ”People on the global scene are more interested in collaborations than competition. That is one of the key things I’ve seen.”

”People don’t also give you opportunities based on who you think you are, what you think you do, where they think you are from but just periodly what they think you are capable of doing,” he added.

 

Edem, who is known in private life as Denning Edem Hotor, further indicated that expertise, qualifications, and knowledge in the music field are the key requirements for global collaboration.

He explained saying, “People also don’t give you opportunities based on who they think you are, what you think you do, where you think you are from but just purely on what you are capable of doing.”
