Starting from January 17th, the TV channel founded by the late Nigerian televangelist TB Joshua, also known as Temitope Babatunde Joshua, will no longer be available on MultiChoice platforms like DStv and GOtv.

Emmanuel TV, the well-known Christian television station (DStv 390), has officially announced its departure from MultiChoice’s DStv and GOtv platforms, as well as other pay-TV services, starting on January 17, 2024. So, after that date, you won’t be able to find it on those platforms anymore.

Emmanuel TV made the decision to leave the MultiChoice platforms like DStv and GOtv, as well as other pay-TV services, for reasons that have not been publicly disclosed. The channel has chosen to move on and explore other avenues to reach its audience.

News reaching out is that, the pastor, who died on June 5, 2021, is the subject of a three-part documentary by the British Broadcasting Corporation, Africa Eye, which chronicles the alleged horrors and sexual crimes committed by him.

About 30 former members and workers of TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) have come forward, accusing him of various serious allegations including abuse, harassment, rape, manipulation, torture, and even staged miracles.

On the flip side, the SCOAN issued a response to the BBC documentary about its founder, the late Joshua. The church dismissed the documentary as unfounded and mentioned that the individuals interviewed in it were unfamiliar to the church.

The church’s Public Affairs Director, Mr. Dare Adejumo, released a statement in reaction to the widely circulated documentary. According to the church, the statement aimed to clarify the story for the public.
