Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has made some donations of stationary and school uniforms to pupils of the Weija Primary school on 20th November, 2023 as part of her Shay Foundation Project.
The Shay Educare is a foundation which caters for the educational needs of children in the country and across the globe.
Mission: The mission of the foundation is to provide access to quality education to children in deprived and undeserved communities with the focus of empowering them through inovative learning programs and resources.
” It’s soo sad to see children drop out of school because they lack basic amenities such as school uniforms and the learning materials to enable them study” she lamented.
She further went on to encourage individuals and agencies to come on board to help children have access to education.
The teachers and pupils were excited to see her and they all sung and danced to her songs.
